Standards that guide our work
Felm’s Code of Conduct sets standards for ethical and responsible behaviour throughout our work. It applies to our employees, volunteers and interns, as well as anyone representing Felm or visiting project activities. Our partners commit to the same standards.
Felm is a member of the CHS Alliance and regularly assesses its work against the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability. The standard helps us strengthen participation, safeguarding, transparency, effective partnerships and local leadership.
Safeguarding and safer spaces
Felm works to protect children and adults at risk and to prevent exploitation, abuse and harassment throughout its work. Our Safer Space Principles promote environments in which everyone can feel safe, welcome and supported.
Preventing corruption and ensuring accountability
Felm works to prevent corruption and other misconduct in its own activities and in cooperation with partner organisations. We use donated funds responsibly, and our due diligence and procurement practices are based on transparency, equal treatment, sustainability and respect for human rights.
